Gladiator boot camp was hell on Earth, sure, but it was also when Liam and Dan first started bonding. Liam would be a downright liar if he didn’t admit to checking Dan out once in a while; noticing his broad back and handsome face. Dan felt the same way, and found himself easily lusting over Liam’s smaller, muscular body and bright smile. They managed to keep their wants at bay throughout the season, living on just a few stray touches here and there. Perhaps Liam and Dan were out with the rest of the cast for dinner one night; they would almost always sit together, and while the table was filled with different conversations, Dan would rest his hand on Liam’s thigh and feel the solidity of it, or Liam would pretend that he was joking and do something like ghost his fingertips across the back of Dan’s neck, knowing that it made the man crazy with lust. They couldn’t keep their hands off of each other, but they had to.
